Featured Project: Lakeridge Health Oshawa

Durham Combustion was contacted for the following reasons:

Improve boiler efficiency and turndown at the Oshawa Hospital facility.

Service Assessment:

The linkage combustion control for the Cleaver Brooks Fire tube boiler needed to be replaced.

Service Call & Assessment:

Replaced existing Cleaver Brooks Fire tube boiler linkage combustion control with a Fireye PPC 4000 linkage less control system.

Existing functions of the Cleaver Brooks HAWK PLC were retained.

Lakeridge Health, one of the largest community hospitals in Ontario, primarily serves more than 600,000 residents of the Durham Region.

It is composed of 3 acute hospitals with Emergency Departments (Bowmanville, Oshawa, Port Perry), one specialty hospital with a regional mandate (Whitby) and a variety of offsite locations.
